What You Get to Do:      

• Sales Forecasting process for Panasonics Business to Business products and solutions. This position will be responsible for developing the forecast for at least one product category, possibly multiple.
• This position will need to facilitate pipeline reviews with Sales on a monthly basis. They will also need to work with product category heads on a regular basis in order to gain market intelligence.
• The successful candidate will need to use this information, along with sales trends and statistically generated models to come up with a consensus forecast.
• Sales Management in order to finalize sales pipeline on a monthly basis Work with Product Management team in order to get market intelligence, product road maps, and end of life information Work with marketing in order to gather promotions data Analyze historical data and trends, perform history cleanups, as needed
• Analyze statistical forecasts and adjust parameters on the model, as needed Work with stakeholders in order to finalize a consensus forecast Measure forecast accuracy and bias and work to continuously improve accuracy
• Facilitate the process of creating a forecast to serve as the business plan Coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Solutions deployment teams, and Vendors to deliver the right product at the right time
• Vendor Management Work with Factory and Vendors to secure inventory, confirm delivery dates, and quantities Work with Vendors on providing timely ETAs for deliveries
• Work with Inventory Accounting team to update inventory receipts in SAP
• Work with Vendors and Accounting team to resolve any invoicing issues
• Process Improvement Initiatives Work to establish new demand planning techniques and incorporate them within your categories
• Explore functionality within the current demand planning systems and determine new ways to increase forecast accuracy
•  Analyze processes and determine manual processes that can be automated.
• Develop and implement plans to automate these processes in order to improve overall process efficiency and reduce internal cost
• Determine changes in process that would enhance the customer experience for parties buying products from Panasonic

What You'll Bring

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 1plus Years of Demand Planning experience required, or equivalent university course work
• Experience working with advanced statistical forecasting tools required, or equivalent university coursework Experience with SAP or equivalent system a plus
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced Excel skills vlookups are required
• People Management
• Conflict Resolution Ability to work within a team of Demand Planners Ability to work with Product Category owners in order to gather market and business intelligence Ability to work with sales in order to gain intelligence on sales pipelines
• Ability to work with the supply and allocation teams to ensure proper allocation

Communications:

• Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills
• Must proactively communicate with stakeholders and keep team updated on ongoing issues
• Must be comfortable working in a diverse environment and be able to communicate with overseas
• Factory team Work with Customer Service, Sales, Product Management, Channel Management and Finance to resolve issues
• Ability to communicate with Product Management, Category Owners, and Executive Management on a regular basis

• Succeed in a fast paced high-pressure environment with multiple and changing priorities
• Strong customer focus is essential
• Must be deadline oriented and have excellent follow-through
• Data Analytics skills highly desirable

What We Offer:    The salary range of $65,000 –$85,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
